Ray Rice, running back for the Baltimore Ravens, was dropped indefinitely by the NFL after video footage emerged showing him punching his future wife unconscious in a casino lift. He had initially received a two-game suspension after being indicted in March for the assault. The charges were dropped after he agreed to counseling.
