Located in southeastern Europe, Bosnia-Herzegovina is divided into a Bosnian Serb republic and a Muslim-Croat federation. Both parts have wide autonomy but share a common presidency, parliament and government. Muslims make up 48 percent of the population, Serbs 37 percent and Croats 13 percent.
